Whitestone REIT is a fully integrated real estate company founded in 1998 that seeks to own and operate Community Centered Properties™, which we define as visibly located properties in established or developing, culturally diverse neighborhoods in our target markets.

We are internally managed with a portfolio of commercial properties in Texas, Arizona and Illinois. We market, lease, and manage our centers to match tenants with the shared needs of the surrounding neighborhood. Those needs may include specialty retail, grocery, restaurants and medical, educational and financial services. We seek to invest in properties that are or can become Community Centered Properties, and focus on niche properties with smaller rental spaces that present opportunities for attractive returns.
