How can I change the registration of my stock?
If you are a registered shareholder, please contact American Stock Transfer & Trust Company at (800) 937-5449, between 8:00AM and 7:00PM EDT Monday through Thursday and between 9:00AM and 5:00PM EDT on Fridays, so they may assist you based on your individual needs. If your shares are held in a bank or brokerage account, please contact your broker.
How can I change the address on my account?
If you are a registered shareholder, you may submit a change of address form. Requests must be made in writing and must contain the signatures of all persons whose names appear on the shareholder account. Please contact American Stock Transfer & Trust Company at (800) 937-5449 if you have further questions. If your shares are held in a bank or brokerage account, please contact your broker.
What can I do if my dividend check is lost?
If a dividend check is lost or stolen, you may request a replacement check by contacting American Stock Transfer & Trust Company at (800) 937-5449, or by writing to Whitestone REIT, c/o American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, Operations Center; 6201 15th Ave., 3rd Floor; Brooklyn, NY 11219. American Stock Transfer & Trust Company will place a stop payment on the original check and issue a replacement. Please allow 10 days from the dividend payment date before requesting a replacement check. You can avoid the inconvenience of a lost dividend check by enrolling in our direct deposit plan. This free program eliminates the possibility of a dividend check being lost or delayed in the mail and often provides faster access to dividend proceeds because dividends are deposited directly into your account on the payment date. (Direct Deposit Form )
How do I stop duplicate mailings?
Although our transfer agent attempts to avoid duplication, occasionally, multiple accounts may be inadvertently created for an individual shareholder due to variations in name, initials or addresses. This results in duplicate mailings, which are costly to Whitestone REIT and inconvenient for you. To eliminate duplicate mailings, please contact American Stock Transfer & Trust Company at (800) 937-5449 and be prepared to provide your name and either the social security number on the account or the account number.
